Terms of Service
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Shoplit, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Shoplit", "we", "us"). They apply to shoplit.io, app.shoplit.io, our apps, and every page we host for our users (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Acceptable Use Policy and our Subscription, Cancellation and Refund Policy.
Important: if you live in the United States, Section 17 contains a binding arbitration agreement and a class action waiver. You can opt out within 30 days, as explained there.
1. Who can use Shoplit
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. If you use Shoplit for a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind it, and "you" includes that company.
You agree to give accurate information, to keep your password private, and to tell us at support@shoplithq.com if you think your account has been compromised. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
2. The Service
Shoplit lets you create digital products with AI tools (ebooks, sales pages, funnels, video courses and more), host them, and sell them to your own customers. Features and limits depend on your plan, as described on our Pricing page. We may change, add or remove features. Features marked "beta" are provided as they are and may change or stop at any time.
3. Plans, fees and subscriptions
Shoplit offers a free plan and paid plans (currently Pro and Business). Prices and what each plan includes are shown on our Pricing page.
Paid subscriptions are sold by our reseller and merchant of record, Polar Software, Inc. ("Polar"). Polar processes your payment, collects applicable sales tax or VAT, and issues your invoice. Polar's terms of purchase also apply to your payment.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the price then in effect, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Settings > Plan & Billing. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Payments are non-refundable except as described in our Subscription, Cancellation and Refund Policy.
We will email you about any price increase between 7 and 30 days before it takes effect, with instructions to cancel. You can cancel before the new price applies. If a payment fails, we may move your account to the free plan until payment is made.
4. Selling on Shoplit (Creators)
If you sell products through Shoplit (a "Creator"), you are the seller. Your contract of sale is between you and your customer. Shoplit provides the tools and is not a party to that sale.
As a Creator, you are responsible for:
- describing your products accurately and delivering what you promise;
- publishing your own terms of sale, refund policy and privacy policy for your customers (Shoplit gives you pages to fill in);
- customer support, refunds, chargebacks and disputes with your customers;
- your taxes, including sales tax or VAT on your sales;
- complying with every law that applies to your business, including consumer protection, advertising, earnings claims, testimonials and reviews (including the rules of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission), and email marketing laws such as CAN-SPAM and the GDPR;
- any tracking pixels or custom code you add to your pages, and the data they collect.
Platform fee. On some plans, Shoplit charges a fee on each sale, shown on the Pricing page. It is deducted automatically when the sale is paid. Our platform fee is not refunded when you refund a sale.
Payments by Stripe. Payment processing services for Creators on Shoplit are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Services Agreement (together, the "Stripe Services Agreement"). By agreeing to these Terms or continuing to operate as a Creator on Shoplit, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as Stripe may modify it from time to time. As a condition of Shoplit enabling payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide Shoplit accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorize Shoplit to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Stripe. Payouts are made by Stripe to your Stripe account, not by Shoplit.
5. Buying from a Creator
If you buy a product on a page hosted by Shoplit, you are buying from the Creator who published it, not from Shoplit. The Creator's terms of sale and refund policy apply. For refunds or questions about the product, contact the Creator first. If you cannot reach them or cannot access a product you paid for, write to us at support@shoplithq.com and we will try to help.
6. Your content
You keep all rights to the content you create, upload or publish with Shoplit ("Your Content"), including content generated with our AI tools, to the extent the law allows.
You give Shoplit a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, display and distribute Your Content only as needed to operate, secure and provide the Service to you and to the visitors of your pages. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for backups kept for a limited time and content your customers have already bought. We will not use Your Content in our marketing without your permission.
You confirm that you own or have permission to use everything in Your Content, and that it does not break any law or anyone's rights. Our "Copy a funnel" feature may only be used on pages you own or are authorized to copy.
7. AI features
Shoplit uses third-party AI models to generate text, images and other content, and to answer support questions through Lya, our AI assistant. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to content created for other users. You must review all output before you publish or sell it, and you are responsible for what you publish.
AI output is not legal, financial, tax, medical or other professional advice. You may not use our AI features to impersonate a real person, create misleading content, or produce anything our Acceptable Use Policy prohibits. We do not use Your Content to train AI models.
8. Acceptable use
You agree to follow our Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break it.
9. Copyright complaints
We respond to notices of copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act. See our Copyright and DMCA Policy. We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
10. Third-party services
The Service connects to services we do not control, such as Stripe, Polar, Google, TikTok and video hosting providers. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. We are not responsible for them.
11. Shoplit's property
The Service, including our software, design, templates, logo and the Shoplit name, belongs to Shoplit and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service under these Terms. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or scrape the Service. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely without owing you anything.
12. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Shoplit and delete your account at any time in Settings > Profile & Account.
We may suspend or close your account, or remove content, if you break these Terms, if your use creates legal, security or financial risk for Shoplit, our users or third parties, or if the law requires it. When possible, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
When your account is closed, your public pages go offline and your customers may lose access to products hosted on Shoplit. You are responsible for informing your customers. We delete or anonymize your data as described in our Privacy Policy, except records we must keep by law (for example, sales records).
13. Disclaimers
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR ORIGINAL, OR THAT YOU WILL MAKE ANY SALES OR INCOME. See our Earnings Disclaimer.
14. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, SHOPLIT WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL. SHOPLIT'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID SHOPLIT IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) US$100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits. In that case, they apply only as far as the law allows. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
15. Indemnification
If you are a Creator, you agree to defend and indemnify Shoplit, its members, employees and partners against any claims, damages, fines and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your products, Your Content, your sales, your dealings with your customers, or your breach of these Terms or of the law.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that is not subject to arbitration will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and you and Shoplit consent to their jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer living in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country. Section 17 does not apply to you.
17. Dispute resolution and arbitration (United States)
Talk to us first. Before filing a claim, send a written description of your dispute to legal@shoplithq.com with your name and account email. We will try to resolve it informally within 60 days.
Binding individual arbitration. If we cannot resolve it, you and Shoplit agree that any dispute related to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules or, if you use Shoplit for business, its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will take place by video or in the county where you live. The arbitrator may award the same relief as a court, but only on an individual basis.
Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court, or ask a court to stop the infringement or misuse of intellectual property.
No class actions. YOU AND SHOPLIT AGREE TO BRING CLAIMS ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS, NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING, AND YOU AND SHOPLIT WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.
Mass filings. If 25 or more similar arbitration demands are filed against Shoplit by the same or coordinated counsel, they will be administered in batches of up to 25, one batch at a time.
Opt-out. You can opt out of this Section 17 by emailing legal@shoplithq.com within 30 days after you first accept these Terms, with your name, account email and a clear statement that you opt out of arbitration.
If the class action waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim will go to court under Section 16, and the rest of this Section 17 still applies.
18. Notice for California users
Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, California users are entitled to the following notice: the Service is provided by Shoplit, LLC, 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA, support@shoplithq.com. Prices are shown on our Pricing page. You may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by phone at (800) 952-5210.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For important changes, we will notify you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that date, you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, you can cancel and delete your account before then.
20. General
These Terms, with the policies they link to, are the entire agreement between you and Shoplit about the Service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
You agree to receive communications from us electronically. You may not use the Service if you are located in a country under U.S. embargo or are on a U.S. sanctions list.
These Terms are written in English. If we provide a translation and it differs from the English version, the English version prevails, unless the law of your country requires otherwise.

This policy lists what you may not create, publish or sell with Shoplit. It is part of our Terms of Service and applies to every user, every page and every product hosted on Shoplit.
1. Prohibited content
You may not create, publish or sell content that:
- is illegal where you or your customers are located;
- infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights, including resold content you do not hold a license for (private label rights are allowed only within the terms of your license);
- sexually exploits or endangers children in any way (we report such content to the U.S. National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and to the authorities);
- is sexually explicit or pornographic;
- promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm, or hatred against people based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or similar characteristics;
- harasses, threatens, defames or shares private information about a person without consent;
- gives dangerous health or medical claims, such as promises to cure or treat a disease.
2. Prohibited business practices
You may not use Shoplit to:
- make false or unsupported income claims, or sell "get rich quick" schemes;
- run pyramid schemes or multi-level marketing programs;
- publish fake reviews or testimonials, or present paid or edited reviews as independent;
- use false urgency or scarcity, such as countdown timers that reset or fake "limited stock";
- sell a product that does not match its description, or fail to deliver what you sold;
- sell regulated or high-risk products or services, including drugs, weapons, gambling, investment signals or financial advice without the required license, or any business that Stripe does not allow;
- collect payments for anything other than the products described on your page.
3. Misuse of AI features
You may not use our AI features to:
- impersonate a real person or create images or videos of a real person without their consent;
- create content designed to deceive, such as fake news, fake documents or fake endorsements;
- generate any content prohibited by this policy.
4. Email and messages
When you email your contacts with Shoplit, you must have their permission, include your postal address and a working unsubscribe link, and respect laws such as CAN-SPAM and the GDPR. You may not send spam or use purchased or rented email lists.
5. Technical misuse
You may not:
- hack, probe or disrupt the Service, or bypass its security or plan limits;
- create several free accounts to get around plan limits;
- upload malware, or create phishing pages or pages that collect passwords or card numbers;
- add custom code that harms visitors, tracks them without consent, or hides what a page does;
- scrape the Service or use it to build a competing product;
- resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written permission.
6. Reporting content
To report content that breaks this policy, use the "Report this page" link at the bottom of any page hosted by Shoplit, or email legal@shoplithq.com with:
- the URL of the content;
- why you believe it breaks this policy or the law;
- your name and email address (unless you are reporting child sexual abuse material);
- a statement that your report is accurate and made in good faith.
For copyright complaints, please follow our Copyright and DMCA Policy. We review reports promptly and tell you what we decided.
7. What we do
If content or an account breaks this policy, we may remove the content, take a page offline, limit features, withhold access to payouts where Stripe allows it, suspend or close the account, and report it to the authorities. We will tell the user what we did and why, unless the law or a safety risk prevents it.
If you disagree with a decision we made about your content or account, reply to our message or email support@shoplithq.com within 6 months. A person will review your request.
Copyright and DMCA Policy
Shoplit respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
1. Reporting copyright infringement
If you believe content hosted on Shoplit infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated Copyright Agent with the following information:
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough).
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- The exact URL or location of the infringing content on Shoplit.
- Your name, postal address, phone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Designated Copyright Agent
Copyright Agent, Shoplit, LLC 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, USA Phone: +971 58 529 6103 Email: legal@shoplithq.com
This address is only for copyright notices. Other messages sent to it will not receive a response; please use support@shoplithq.com instead.
When we receive a valid notice, we remove or disable access to the content and inform the user who posted it, with a copy of the notice.
2. Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or that you have the right to use it, you can send a counter-notice to our Copyright Agent with:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the content that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification.

We forward the counter-notice to the person who filed the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the content within 10 to 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.
3. Repeat infringers
We close the account of any user who is the subject of valid copyright notices on three separate occasions, or sooner in serious cases.
4. False notices
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that content is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. Please make sure your notice is accurate before sending it.
5. Copying pages and funnels
Shoplit's "Copy a funnel" feature may only be used on pages you own or are authorized to copy. Copying someone else's texts, images or videos without permission is a breach of our Terms of Service and may lead to removal of the content and closure of the account.
6. Other reports
To report a trademark issue, illegal content, or content that breaks our Acceptable Use Policy, use the "Report this page" link or email legal@shoplithq.com. Users in the European Union can use the same channel to send notices under the Digital Services Act.
Earnings Disclaimer
Shoplit is a software tool. It does not guarantee that you will make any sales or earn any money.
1. No guarantee of income
Shoplit helps you create and sell digital products. Whether you make money depends on many things Shoplit does not control: your product, your audience, your marketing, your effort, your experience, your market and the time you invest. Many users make few or no sales.
2. Examples and testimonials
When we share the results of a Shoplit user (revenue figures, screenshots, testimonials or success stories), they are real results of that specific person. They are not typical, and they do not mean you will get the same or similar results. Some of these people may receive benefits from Shoplit, such as a free plan or a commission; when that is the case, we say so.
3. Not financial advice
Nothing on Shoplit, in our content, emails, videos or AI-generated material is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Talk to a qualified professional before making business or financial decisions.
4. Ambassadors and affiliates
Some people who recommend Shoplit are members of our Ambassador program and earn a commission when you subscribe through their link or code. They must clearly disclose this relationship and may not promise income or results.
5. Creators' own claims
Creators who sell on Shoplit are responsible for their own marketing. If a Creator makes income claims about their product, they must be truthful, based on evidence, and must show what results are typical, as required by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and other consumer protection authorities. Shoplit does not verify or endorse Creators' claims.
